Solutions

Whatever you are studying,
it starts with who you ask.

The study types we run most often, each with its own audience structure, template and QC threshold. Copy the whole thing, or borrow one part.

By research type

Four common study types.
Four different audience structures.

The same 800 completes means something different for a tracker and a churn study — different people, different length, different threshold for a bad answer. Those differences are pre-configured.

Brand & advertising

Brand equity, awareness, creative testing and in-market lift. Track the same people across waves and read a trend, not a series of snapshots.

  • Brand funnel and equity model
  • 15s / 30s creative testing
  • Ad recall and likeability
  • Quarterly tracker waves

Product & concept testing

Screen cheap and wide, then validate the winner quantitatively. Spend only where it changes the answer.

  • Appeal and uniqueness
  • Shelf and pack simulation
  • Price sensitivity (PSM)
  • Feature prioritisation

CX & NPS

Touchpoint diagnosis, churn drivers and tracking. NPS is not the number you collect — it is the open-end behind it.

  • NPS and recommendation drivers
  • Touchpoint satisfaction map
  • Churn and win-back interviews
  • Ongoing experience monitoring

Segmentation & audiences

Attitude plus behaviour clustering you can brief a team with. Not "young mothers" but "shops on the way home, price-sensitive, ingredient-first".

  • Attitude and behaviour clustering
  • Segment sizing
  • Category usage occasions
  • Reachability validation

By industry

Industry differences show up
in the sample and the wording.

We do not field one generic questionnaire for everyone. Sector means different screeners, different compliance constraints and a different definition of a good answer.

CPG & retail

Launch validation, shelf and promotion response, taste and packaging tests. Product can be shipped to respondents before the study and reviewed afterwards.

Tech & internet

Roadmap prioritisation, usability sessions and churn motivation. We recruit genuine power users — and the people who just left you.

110K Finance decision-makers

Financial services

Compliance-safe decision-maker sample covering savings, investments, insurance and lending, filterable by assets and risk appetite.

4 Recruitable health groups

Healthcare

Patients, caregivers and clinicians as three distinct audiences. Anything touching prescription or diagnosis goes through a compliance review before fielding.

Template library

48 templates.
Insert, adapt, field.

Each one is maintained by a researcher who has run the design fifty times or more. Question order, option sets and open-end placement are all field-tested. Insert it and edit freely — nothing is locked.

How teams use it

Three projects.
Three different things compressed.

Numbers come from real project debriefs. Client names are withheld by agreement.

A 400-complete screen, then an 800-complete validation of the top two routes.

Questions about study design

Talk to us
We are not sure which design fits. Can you help?

Yes. Send the decision you need to support, the audience and your timeline, and a researcher will send a comparison of two or three designs with sample size, duration and budget. No charge and no obligation to buy.

How large should the sample be?

Quantitative work commonly uses 300–800 valid completes, with at least 80 per sub-group you want to report separately. The more cross-tabs you plan, the larger the base. We can back-solve the sample size from the tables you intend to publish.

Do you run qualitative research?

Yes. The expert and decision-maker network supports 30–60 minute interviews, and consumers can join online focus groups. Recruitment, incentives, scheduling, recording, transcription and coding can all be handled for you.

Can we track the same people across waves?

Yes — a locked panel keeps 85%+ overlap between waves, or you can field a fresh cross-section each time. We will explain the trade-offs at the design stage, because the two answer different questions.
